10 Lessons.

This is a follow-up course to the basic level 1 (101) introductory course. It focuses on refining and improving skills in Magazine/Gag Cartooning developed earlier. It initiates the creation of a body of art work capable of being submitted for publication. Emphasis is placed on the practical exercises of idea development, preliminary and comprehensive rough sketches leading to finished ink (line art) drawings of single panel cartoons. Students will conduct inking exercises and drawings using pens and permanent black ink. Additionally, students will be introduced to the use of ink washes and markers to indicate shading and image depth. Completed lessons will be sent to ToonMaker.com for pro review and critiques.
